Mt. Dagger “Nothing Personal. Just Misery.” LP

Berlin and Leipzig-based four-piece Mt. Dagger present their full-length debut “Nothing Personal. Just Misery.” following their self-recorded demo from 2022. Capturing the band’s raw energy, the album was recorded live at Tonmeisterei Oldenburg at the end of 2024 and features 10 tightly- arranged songs packed with the driving sounds of hardcore D-beat rhythms, dense and dynamic guitars, distorted, punchy bass, and high-pitched, ratty vocals. The lyrics confront boundary violations, self-destruction, skewed work ethics, and false idols born from human absurdity with each track revealing layers of despair and dark irony – without resignation. The album’s artwork, crafted by the guitarist, mirrors its unfiltered intensity: Mt. Dagger unleash 10 songs of relentless misery – and make no apologies for it.

The band’s members are long-standing contributors to the underground hardcore and punk scene and have played in acts such as Jvlith Krishvn, Kommisar X, Throwers, Crowns & Thieves, Dikloud, Pleite and Total Fraud.
